Usage policy

SimFabric is for learning, research, and building robots. This policy lists what you may not use it for. It is part of our Terms of service.

Do not use SimFabric to

Cause harm

• Design, develop or test weapons, or robotic systems intended to injure people or to select and engage targets.
• Plan or support violence, harassment, or harm to any person or animal.
• Build systems to surveil, track or identify specific people without their knowledge or consent.

Break the law or others’ rights

• Do anything illegal where you are or where the result will be used.
• Upload files you do not have the right to use, or share assets in breach of their licences.
• Upload malicious code or content designed to damage or gain access to systems.

Misuse the service

• Try to access another person’s account, history or worlds.
• Get around plan limits - for example with multiple accounts or by sharing an account.
• Probe, scan or test the security of SimFabric without our written permission, or overload it on purpose.
• Scrape the service or its asset library in bulk, or resell access to it.

Safety with real robots

A world that works in simulation can still fail on real hardware. If you move from SimFabric to a physical robot, test it under supervision and use its own safety systems. Do not present a SimFabric result as proof that a system is safe to operate near people.

If something breaks this policy

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend an account that breaks this policy. To report misuse or a security issue, email support@simfabric.dev.
